Friends of Heycroft
Welcome to Friends of Heycroft Primary School
Friends of Heycroft Primary School (FOHPS) plays a vital part in the school’s community with all parents/legal guardians of pupils and teachers and staff working at Heycroft Primary School automatically being members of the association.
Established in September 2023, the main aims of FOHPS are to fundraise for the school by providing fun and exciting events including our infamous Fireworks Display for our children and community.
These events have a good track record of not only raising money for the school to further improve the learning experience and wellbeing of our children but also allows the school to be at the heart of its community through using local businesses and suppliers for our events.
When your child joins the school, if you do not wish to play an active role in the day-to-day running of the association, please note that you do not have to but as a member you will still have the right to vote each year as to who the committee members are and at any time can be a volunteer to plan and support events or put forward fund-raising ideas.
All members of the association can attend the FOHPS Annual General Meeting (AGM) which takes place at the beginning of each school year and/or attend our monthly open committee meetings which take place on the 2nd Monday of every month in the school hall at 6pm.

Minutes of Open Meetings for curriculum year 2023/2024
Our next FoH Open meeting is on Monday 11th March, at 6pm in the school hall.
A reminder that these open meetings are for all parents, guardians, teachers, and staff of Heycroft who wish to attend and participate in the fund-raising efforts for the school.
An agenda for the upcoming meeting will be shared over the coming days, and we hope to see many of you there.

Wednesday 27th March – join us after school for a Spring-Tastic time including a special guest hopping in to say hello.
Friday 19th July – End of Term Summer Fun – the inflatables are back and a whole lot more.
